Marcello Romano
Dr. Marcello Romano is a professor of astronautics at the Naval Postgraduate School. His research interests are on dynamics and control of spacecraft and robot. He worked on the problem of control of a multibody spacecraft by control moment gyroscopes, and on the problem of controlling a manipulator with flexible links by applying the input shaping technique. He is the founder director of the Spacecraft Robotics Laboratory. He holds a doctorate degree and a Laurea degree in astronautical engineering from Politecnico di Milano, Italy.
